Brandon Blough joined NPPFA (formerly IPPFA) Benefits in 2012, servicing municipalities in central and southern Illinois. Until 2023, Brandon was also a full-time firefighter in the state capital, Springfield, retiring as Fire Chief in May of 2023. He obtained his Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign, and carries Series 6 and Series 63 licenses. He currently serves as the company's Chief Operating Officer. As COO, he oversees all aspects of operations, including new technology and software implementation, marketing plans, national sales expansion, and NPPFA Benefit's new Financial Planning initiative. Brandon is passionate about helping municipal employees and educators achieve their financial goals, and is excited to be a part of the company's development and growth.
